Just A Day at the Ballpark

On Sunday we went to watch the Altoona Curve play the Harrisburg Nationals and the #1 draft pick Stephen Strausburg (who has been touted to possibly be a future Hall of Famer) So of course, Chad takes advantage of any chances we might have to be a part of something that has the potential to be a significant sports moment. (Which living in Altoona...these moments don't pop up very often so you have jump at them while you can!)

As you can see Brielle was very excited to be part of this historical day...


And the first pitch was thrown out...

...And Dad made this game way more hyped up than he should have...time to focus on drinking and sunbathing!

Some"bunny" wants to wish everyone a Happy Easter!

This was the best pic we could get of Brielle in her Easter dress...luring her to sit still with Mommy's necklace always does the trick! Next step...teaching her to sit a little more lady like!

We Love Spring!!

Spring is here...finally! And boy did we take advantage of it. We took a nice little stroller ride around the neighborhood...

Set her down in the grass in the backyard to try to get a picture...

and learned that our daughter is afraid of grass...yes folks grass!

We had to put a nice little red blanket down for our little princess so she could at least sit down without freaking out. Here she is getting as close to the edge as she possibly dares...

We look upon this turn of events as both unlucky and lucky. Unlucky because we have a daughter who is afraid of grass, which is about as scary as butterflies or ham sandwiches. Lucky though, because we should have no problem getting yard work done this spring since her blanket serves as a natural electric fence.

We Got a Little Snow

So over the last 24 hours, we went from having grass in our yard to this...

Yep, over 20 inches of snow! (Grandpa and Grandma C chose the perfect weekend to visit!) Chad donned his flannel and Russian hat and grabbed the shovel and worked for 3 hours with Dad C to dig us out.

And of course we had to take Brielle out in the snow. She loved being outside...wasn't crazy about sitting in the snow...but still loved being out there. Here are just a few pics from the day

The Weekends

This past weekend Brielle just spent time hanging out with good ole Mom and Dad...but

...over the next two weekends she gets to hang out with the grandparents!

She can't wait to show them her new tricks!
