The Results are In!

Well, Brielle had her 2 month check-up this past week and our little peanut really isn't much of a peanut anymore.

She weighed in at 12 lbs 11 oz (90th percentile) and was 23 1/4 inches long (75th percentile)!

Yep, she has now acquired the nickname Bubba and is now competing with her Daddy on who has the bigger thighs!

How did she get to be this size? We still can't figure it out! :)

In other news, in between Brielle's naps, feedings, and night-time sleeping, we have been working on doing some painting. We painted our bathroom and our bedroom over the weekend. Whew...2 rooms down...only 6 to go!

Well, our first two attempts didn't go so well. Here, finally, is Brielle actually doing a little jabbering.

Whats been going on!

Things have been quite busy in the Carlson household since we last updated!

Packing, Packing, Packing was the theme for the first couple weeks of June as we prepared for our big move on June 12th to the booming metropolis of Altoona, PA. Needless to say closing on a house, packing up all of our belongings, and moving all within a month of having a child...we do NOT recommend that to anyone! All in all we are glad the move is over and we are loving having our very first home! (I even enjoyed weeding today...we'll see how long that lasts!)

After the big move it was back to Michigan for 2 weeks for Brielle to meet friends and family and enjoy some days at the beach.

Chad's sister Bethany came home from her semester in Australia while we were in Michigan so she was able to meet Brielle for the first time. Brielle should did love meeting her auntie!

Its hard to believe Brielle is 8 weeks old already. She has been growing like a weed! Needless to say she does not skip out on any meals...as you can tell by her cheekys! Shes starting to smile and laugh and interact with us which we just love! I've attached a bunch of pictures since its been awhile, so sorry about the Brielle overload!

And now we're back in PA for a couple of weeks...to finish settling into our house and making it our own!
