They say that Halloween is the time for scariness and I've already gotten a taste of October fright. This weekend we stayed fifteen minutes from Hell (in Ann Arbor). I must have been at the zoo early Saturday afternoon because I was getting passed from Lions to varmints back to Lions and even to a Wildcat every now and then. I got drowsy and fell into a deep sleep soon after the PSU-Michigan game began.
In my dreams, Aunt Beef dressed me up like one of those varmints, and she called it a Wolverine. When I woke up, I realized that my nightmare had become a reality. My mom said I looked cute (she was lying, I could tell), and my dad was trying to convince Ann and Libby that wolverines were extinct. I don't know whether he's right or not, but I found out as the afternoon went on that wolverines don't like to play in the rain (way to go, Lions!).
Grandpa G and Aunt Beef weren't very happy after the game. My mom and dad were glowing, though, and they kept making fun of a wolverine that had migrated north from West Virginia.
I did find one good thing about Ann Arbor...they have a swimming pool! So I was able to play with Mommy and Daddy, Grandpa and Grandma, Aunt Kim and Uncle Eric, and Brooke and Grant (although Mommy was very bad and did not take any pics with the Gma's and Gpa's, and the Petro Family) But here are just a few with Mommy and Daddy.
