Michigan - Post 2

We celebrated this little guys first birthday while we were back in Michigan (only a month late...but better late than never!)
He started the night off by giving his cuz Peyton a ride in the Jeep
Can you see the excitement in his face about being forced to don this lovely birthday hat?
There were many hands ready and willing to open Bryce's birthday presents...of course none of those hands were Bryce's, but at least someone was interested in them!
The cake eating was more of a cake flinging affair with chocolate frosting going everywhere...sorry mom and dad...I have no idea how he got that spoon in his hands! :)

I can't believe our baby is one.  Seriously this past year has just flown by.  Bryce is a smiley, energetic, "always on the go; getting into everything" little boy.  He loves all things boy - a ball of any form to shoot in anything that might resemble a hoop, pushing trucks and tractors around (and maybe an occasional baby stroller :)), being outdoors, playing in the sandbox, spending time in Grandpa's barn, rough-housing with his sister, and just plain destroying anything in his way.  He loves his big sister and wants to do everything his big sister does.  Just a few examples: She eats yogurt with her own spoon...well by all means he should be eating yogurt with his own spoon (yeah a one year old with a spoon and yogurt...did you see that he flung his birthday cake with the spoon...imagine what he could do with yogurt!), Brielle likes to open the garage door...well now the garage door goes up and then right back down every time we leave because of course Sir Bryce has to push the button too!  He sees  Brielle flush the toilet...well he needs to flush the toilet (once every 20 seconds!) He is a sponge and is taking it all in and is so inquisitive (aka nosy - gets it from his mom!)  We love you buddy and can't wait to see what this year holds!

Such great pictures of Sir Bryce. I love his little tuft of hair that sprouts up in every picture. :)
